PROCESS WORK

Continuing from last week,  I found a few photos of flowers to form a garden. At first, I wanted to use bouquet of flowers, then wouldn't have to match the flowers on my own but then, I realised that it was hard for me to animate latter in the process and I didn't. found any bouquet that was suitable. Thus, I opted from choosing the flowers and leaves that I liked individually.

After that, I removed the background and cropped the images and placed it in the poster.

I also edited the curves and brightness of some flowers and leaves to make sure they all go well with each other when placing them into positions.

Then, I proceeded with finding more pictures that I could add in the poster.

After that, I added the plane of grass to the base of the head as I thought it looked empty and edited the curve for it too.

After placing all the flowers and leaves to the head, I proceeded to add the background, butterflies and the previous cropped full body picture along with the watering can.

Then, I edited the curves and colour balance of the butterflies, full body picture, watering can, flowers and leaves to match the background that is more blueish green.

After that, I added the clouds into the poster and edited the colour balance of them to be more blueish as well as the exposure some of the clouds according to the background.

Then I added the water droplets of the watering can using the same background removing technique as the kintsugi lines last week.

After that, I moved on with editing the colour balance and exposure of the face to be more blueish.

REFLECTION

During this week, I continued on to finish up the poster. I started to get more and more used to cropping the images and changing the curves and colour balance of the images. One thing that I would have done differently next time would be deciding on a background first before editing the curves, brightness and colour balance of the other elements as it was quite annoying to change the colour balance again and again. Other than that, I felt like I improved in my techniques and speed in doing the photo editing.
