29/10/2025 - 09/11/2025 (Week 5 - Week 8) Chan Xin Yean, 0377851 Illustration & Visual Narrative Task 2 : Environmental Composition Design LECTURE & TUTORIAL Week 5 During week 5 lectures, Mr. Hafiz introduced the 2nd task that we were assigned. We were instructed to create a backstory for our chosen character from task 1 or a new character and then sketch compositions according to the Framed Ink file teacher provided. He also showed us previous seniors illustrations and explained about the types of compositions that we could use in our sketch. Week 7 During our tutorial session, we did a few exercises on shading, colouring and photo editing using Adobe Illustrator. 22/10/2025 - 26/10/2025 ( Week 5 ) Chan Xin Yean, 0377851 Digital Photography and Imaging Project 2A : Double Exposure  LECTURES In this week's lecture we learned about double exposure. There were different methods on achieving the double exposure effect, which includes using the tilt-shift effect, creating fake reflections, editing silhouettes and more.  Figure 1.0 Slide about double exposure Teacher also showed us the blend modes on Adobe Photoshop and explained it was an experimental process using it and encourages us to try on different modes to get the results we want. 24/09/2025 - 15/10/2025 (Week 1 - Week 4) Chan Xin Yean, 0377851 Digital Photography and Imaging Project 1 : Digital Imaging Exercises LECTURES During the lectures, we learnt about adjustment layers and filters in Adobe Photoshop. There were a few adjustment that could be made in the adjustment layer, that is brightness, levels, curves, exposure and selective colour.  Figure 1.0 Screenshot of lecture slides about adjustment layer For filters teacher showed a few videos and examples on how we could change or edit the colours and textures of a picture. Figure 1.1 Screenshot of lecture slides about filters In our exercise, filter was used in the Shazam Hearst Mansion when we applied gaussian blur to a shadow layer and even the ripple effect for the reflection. 06/10/2025 - 12/10/2025 (Week 3) Chan Xin Yean, 0377851 Digital Photography and Imaging Project 1 : Digital Collage LECTURE In this weeks lecture, we were introduced to Adobe Photoshop and its tools like lasso tool, pen tool, tool bar and the layers. Teacher also showed us a few videos as a tutorial for using the basic tools in Photoshop. Figure 1.0 Screenshot of lecture slide  The way we add the points and drag the tool as we create the point when using pen tool determines how they will look. There are different variations of pen tool that we might use in future projects. We could also try The Bézier Game to get use to using it.
